The CO2 extraction industry has strict requirements on the cleanliness of the production environment and the compliance of equipment. Equipment must have authoritative certification (CE certification) to meet local production requirements; the energy consumption during the extraction production process is relatively high, and energy-saving equipment design is required to reduce long-term operating costs; the clean room needs to adapt to the complex layout of the extraction process, with frequent needs for later equipment maintenance and cable adjustment, so the requirements for the flexibility and practicality of the ceiling system are extremely high.
The clean room covers an area of 1,200 square meters, and the ceiling system needs to adapt to the design and size of different areas, requiring efficient planning and safe installation; cables and hoses need to be laid standardized in the ceiling to avoid unevenness affecting cleanliness; it is necessary to ensure that all clean room equipment has CE certification, fully complying with local compliance requirements in North Macedonia to ensure the smooth commissioning of the project.
Core Design Idea: Combined with the overall needs of the CO2 extraction turnkey project, build a 1,200-square-meter clean room that balances compliance, energy efficiency and flexibility; the ceiling system adopts a standardized grid design to achieve rapid planning and safe installation, and optimizes component design to meet the needs of independent disassembly and interchange for easy later maintenance; reasonably plan the ceiling wiring space to ensure that cables and hoses are laid standardized, in line with the cleanliness requirements of the clean room, and achieve seamless connection between the clean room and the extraction process.
Key Technology Implementation: Strictly screen all clean room equipment to ensure that they all have CE certification and fully meet local production requirements in North Macedonia; the air conditioning unit is equipped with a fully automatic control system to realize precise automatic control of parameters such as temperature and humidity, reducing manual operation costs; select water-cooled screw chillers, optimize energy consumption design, effectively reduce energy consumption during the operation of the clean room, and achieve the goal of energy saving and consumption reduction; the ceiling system adopts standardized grid size, and components can be independently disassembled and interchanged without affecting adjacent areas. Appropriate punched cut-outs are reserved on the ceiling strip grids and cassettes to facilitate the standardized laying of cables and hoses in the ceiling (which can be laid covered, transverse to and parallel to the strip grids), ensuring no unevenness after laying and guaranteeing the overall flatness and cleanliness of the clean room.
Compliance Adaptation: All clean room equipment has CE certification, strictly following local production compliance requirements in North Macedonia and cleanliness standards of the CO2 extraction industry. Wiring, equipment installation and other links are in line with relevant local specifications to ensure that the project can pass compliance acceptance smoothly after commissioning.
Cleanliness Indicators: The overall area of the clean room is 1,200 square meters, the cleanliness stably meets the standards required for CO2 extraction production, and the ceiling is laid flat without unevenness, effectively avoiding pollution in the clean area and ensuring the quality of extracted products.
Supporting Indicators: All clean room equipment has CE certification, complying with local requirements in North Macedonia; the water-cooled screw chiller has been put into use smoothly, and the energy consumption is 15%-20% lower than that of conventional chillers, achieving the energy-saving goal; the fully automatic control system of the air conditioning unit operates stably with precise parameter adjustment; the ceiling system is convenient to disassemble and assemble, with good component interchangeability, and the wiring is standardized and flat.
Compliance Aspect: All equipment and construction comply with CE certification standards and local production specifications in North Macedonia, and the project has passed compliance acceptance smoothly, which can be directly put into CO2 extraction production.
Production Aspect: The 1,200-square-meter clean room perfectly adapts to the layout of the CO2 extraction process; the fully automatic air conditioning system reduces manual operation and maintenance costs; the energy-saving chiller reduces long-term operating energy consumption; the flexible and adjustable ceiling system facilitates later equipment maintenance and cable adjustment, improving production efficiency.
The project was delivered smoothly within the agreed cycle (2018-2019). The clean room equipment, ceiling system, wiring and other aspects all met the core needs of the customer, winning high recognition from the customer and laying a foundation for potential future cooperation.
1. Dual Consideration of Compliance and Energy Saving: All clean room equipment has CE certification, accurately adapting to local compliance requirements in North Macedonia. At the same time, water-cooled screw chillers are selected, combined with a fully automatic air conditioning control system, to achieve the dual goals of energy saving and consumption reduction and compliant production, which is in line with the core needs of the CO2 extraction industry.
2. Flexible Ceiling and Standardized Wiring Design: Aiming at the needs of a large 1,200-square-meter clean room, a standardized and flexible ceiling system is adopted, with components that can be independently disassembled and interchanged. At the same time, the ceiling wiring design is optimized to ensure that cables are laid standardized and flat, which not only improves installation efficiency but also facilitates later maintenance, solving the core problems of layout and maintenance of large-area clean rooms.
