5. Disassembly of stamping die
(1) Dismantle the upper punch: unscrew the upper punch fastening nut to pull out the upper punch. If the fit is tight, clamp the upper punch with pliers to pull it out, but pay attention not to damage the edge of the punch.
(2) Dismantle the middle mold: unscrew the fixing screws of the middle mold, unscrew the down-punch fixing nuts, unscrew the butterfly screws, and loosen the gear press plate. Convey the adjusting gear to make the lower punch core rod rise by 10mm, turn the handwheel slightly to make the lower punch core rod eject a part of the middle mold, and take out the middle mold by hand. If the middle mold fits tightly in the hole, do not turn the hard top of the handwheel forcefully to avoid damaging the machine parts. At this time, the middle mold platen must be removed before taking out the middle mold.
(3) Dismantle the down-punch: first unscrew the down-punch fixing screw, then turn the handwheel to raise the down-punch core rod to the highest position, and then pull out the up-punch rod by hand. If the fit is tight, clamp it out with a pair of pliers (be careful not to damage the edge of the punch).
(4) After the removal of the die, it is necessary to turn the adjusting gear to make the lower core rod recede by about 10 mm. When the hand wheel is turned to make the lower core rod rise to the highest position, its top should not be higher than the bottom surface of the middle mold platen (this step should not be ignored to avoid the collision between the lower core rod and the top of the middle mold when it is used again). Finally, screw down the set screw.
