Drying Oven Introduction

A drying oven is a box shaped device that uses heating for dehydration, drying, heat treatment, or other thermal reactions. Widely used in industrial production, scientific research, laboratory analysis, food processing and other fields.

1.1 Classified by heating and working principle: It can be divided into electric blast drying oven and vacuum drying oven. The former is designed specifically for drying heat sensitive, easily decomposable, and oxidizable substances. It achieves fast and uniform hot air circulation drying through electric heating and forced convection by a fan, and can be filled with inert gas; The latter uses a vacuum pump to remove the air inside the box, making the atmospheric pressure inside the box lower than normal pressure, allowing the product to dry or test in a low-pressure environment, reducing or eliminating problems such as oxidation, dehydration, and volatilization.

2.1 Structure: It usually consists of a box, heating system, control system, circulation system, and safety protection system. The box body is generally made of cold-rolled steel or stainless steel, and the surface of the outer shell is often treated with electrostatic spraying. The inner liner is mostly made of mirror stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance and hygiene performance. Heating systems generally use heating elements such as electric heating wires and steam radiators. The control system includes temperature sensors, controllers, etc., which are used to accurately adjust and maintain the working temperature inside the box. The circulation system uses a built-in fan to drive hot air to circulate inside the box, promoting even distribution of heat. The safety protection system includes multiple safety devices such as over temperature alarm, overload protection, and explosion-proof device.

2.2 Working principle: Using heating elements to generate heat, the temperature inside the box rises, thereby promoting the evaporation of moisture on the surface and inside of the item. At the same time, the hot air is continuously circulated inside the box through a circulation system to ensure uniform temperature distribution and improve drying efficiency. For a vacuum drying oven, heating is carried out while reducing the air pressure inside the oven, so that the moisture in the material evaporates rapidly at a lower temperature, thereby achieving the purpose of drying.
