The weighing room is a specialized place for precise weighing of various substances in many industries with high environmental requirements.
Cleanliness: Usually achieved according to industry standards and usage requirements, achieving high cleanliness. Pressure difference: A certain pressure difference should be maintained between adjacent areas of the weighing chamber, usually positive pressure, with a pressure difference between 5-10 Pa. This can prevent external unpurified air from entering the weighing room and avoid contaminating materials. If toxic, harmful, or highly active substances are being weighed, a negative pressure environment can be designed to prevent them from leaking into the surrounding environment.
Fire and explosion prevention: If the material being weighed has flammable and explosive properties, corresponding fire and explosion prevention measures should be taken in the weighing room, such as using explosion-proof electronic equipment, including lighting fixtures, sockets, switches, etc., setting up a good ventilation system, timely discharging flammable gases or dust, and equipping fire extinguishing equipment such as dry powder fire extinguishers and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers; And regularly inspect and maintain.
Protection against toxic and harmful substances: For weighing materials that are toxic, harmful, highly active, or have biological hazards, in addition to operating in negative pressure environments, personal protective equipment such as goggles, gas masks, and gloves should also be equipped. At the same time, a dedicated wastewater treatment system should be set up to purify the discharged exhaust gas and prevent harmful substances from being discharged into the environment. In addition, the floor and walls of the weighing room should have corrosion-resistant and easy to clean characteristics, so that in the event of material leakage, timely cleaning and disinfection can be carried out to avoid harm to the environment and personnel.
