To build a clean experimental clean room, it is necessary to choose the appropriate building materials, air conditioning purification system, air flow organization, fire fighting facilities, according to different cleanliness levels and control objects. In general, the design of clean rooms should follow the following principles:

The clean room is composed of six parts: preparation room, washing room, sterilization room, aseptic room, constant greenhouse and ordinary laboratory. The floor and walls should be smooth and hard, and the instruments and equipment should be simple and easy to clean.

The aseptic room should have two inside and outside, the inside is the aseptic room, the outside is the buffer room, all the room area should not be too large, the ceiling should not be too high, to facilitate air sterilization.

The clean room should ensure personal safety, environmental safety, waste safety and sample safety, can run for a long time and safely, and also need to provide a comfortable and good working environment for laboratory staff.

The envelope structure, decoration materials, doors and Windows of the clean room should be non-burning, non-absorbent, non-permeable, mildew resistant, smooth and easy to clean light-colored materials, and organic composite materials should not be used.

The air supply of the clean room is filtered at least three levels (coarse, medium and high efficiency), and the high efficiency filter should be set at the end of the system, and the clean room should have sufficient purification and air supply volume of the air conditioner.

The clean room should maintain the necessary pressure gradient (positive pressure gradient or negative pressure gradient), and the air flow should flow from the clean area to the unclean area, and different air flow organizations such as unidirectional flow or non-unidirectional flow can be used.

The clean room should have sufficient natural lighting or artificial lighting, the mixed illumination of the working surface of the processing site should not be less than 300LUX, and the batching and filling workshop should not be less than 800LUX.

The clean room should be equipped with effective ventilation equipment, the ventilation volume should be greater than 3 times/hour, the temperature should be controlled between 15 and 27℃, and the humidity should be controlled below 50%.

The entrance of the clean room should be equipped with purification facilities for personnel and materials, the evacuation route should be simple and clear, easy to find and identify, and the evacuation direction should be at least 2 for personnel evacuation.

The clean room must be equipped with fire extinguishers, and install fire fighting facilities such as automatic sprinkler system and gas fire extinguishing system. The fire fighting electrical equipment should adopt a dedicated power supply circuit and have obvious signs.
