When we receive customer inquiries, don't rush to provide quotations and design drawings. We should first collect and organize information, which is the premise of a good design plan.
Understand the demand background. What is the workshop gmp used for? How much area and how many rooms are needed? Different products have different requirements for cleanliness levels. For example, the semiconductor industry, pharmaceutical industry or food processing industry have different requirements for the cleanliness level of the workshop. At the same time, understand the customer's production process, workshop layout, workshop staff capacity, for formulate a reasonable action route of the clean workshop to avoid duplication of employee routes. It is should one-way from entering the workshop to leaving the workshop to prevent internal cross-contamination. Carefully verify the space size and height of the clean workshop, and check whether there are obstacles in the original building that hinder the normal design.
After detailed preparations, the design phase begins.Determine which purification system to use based on the cleanliness level, use primary filter, medium filter or high efficiency filter; just only need AHU(Air Handling Units) or whole HVAC system(heating, ventilation and air conditioning). At the same time, based on the information collected in the early of the size of the dust free workshop and the number of employees, calculate the air supply volume and air exhaust volume.
Then determine the air supply vents and air exhaust vents based on the structural layout of the clean workshop. Determine the number of FFU based on the temperature, humidity and pressure requirements of each room. Consider the flow direction of personnel and air so that the contaminated air can be discharged to prevent cross contamination. Design control system for the entire dust free workshop to achieve automatic control, including temperature, humidity, pressure, air volume, etc. At the same time, it can also monitor the service life of the filter and remind to replace the filter.
