Classification and Performance Analysis of Air Filters

G4 Primary Filters are mainly applicable to primary filtration of air conditioning and ventilation systems, return air filtration of clean rooms, and pre-filtration of local high-efficiency filtration devices. Types include plate type, folded type, and bag type; the frame material is aluminum alloy or galvanized sheet, and the filter element material is mostly non-woven fabric, nylon mesh, aluminum mesh, stainless steel mesh, etc.

Medium Efficiency Filters (F5-F9) are mainly used in central air conditioning and centralized air supply systems. They can be used for primary filtration of air conditioning systems to protect the next-level filters and the system itself. With its unique bag-type structure, it ensures that the air flow fills the entire bag evenly. It can prevent leakage caused by overcrowding between bags. It adopts melt-blown ultra-fine glass fiber filter material, which has fine fibers, large quantity and fluffy structure, with high efficiency, low resistance and long service life. The chemical fiber protective lining on the air outlet surface of the filter material effectively avoids filter material damage and fiber leakage.

Sub-high Efficiency Filters (H10-H12) are mainly used to capture particles. They usually adopt ultra-fine glass fiber or PP filter material, which has the characteristics of low resistance, large dust holding capacity and high efficiency. They often adopt a non-partition structure (using hot melt adhesive as the separator), and the filter material is mostly ultra-fine glass fiber or PP high-efficiency paper. The frame material can be selected from aluminum alloy, galvanized sheet or ABS plastic frame.

HEPA Filters include H13 and H14 grades, focusing on intercepting 0.3μm dust particles. The frame is mostly made of aluminum frame or galvanized sheet, which has stronger stability; the interior is layered with aluminum foil and paper separators, and the filter material can be selected from ultra-fine glass fiber, PP, PTFE, with a filtration efficiency range of 99.97%-99.995%, customizable thickness, and a conventional operating temperature of 80℃, meeting the air filtration needs of acid, alkali and trace organic solvents. Special customized HEPA filters with high temperature resistance and high humidity resistance are available. It can withstand 100% RH humidity and adopts moisture-proof glass fiber filter material; the high temperature resistance is divided into three grades: 250℃, 350℃ and 450℃, equipped with stainless steel frame and special silica gel seal. HEPA-BOX integrated filter unit supports quick replacement of filter elements indoors; the liquid tank sealed high-efficiency filter relies on jelly glue for sealing, with extremely strong sealing performance, suitable for high-cleanliness sealing scenarios such as Class 100 laminar flow hoods.

U15 and U16 grade ULPA Ultra-high Efficiency Filters are high-end models, which can filter 0.12μm ultra-fine dust particles with a maximum efficiency of 99.99995%, and are mostly used for terminal air supply in high-grade clean rooms.

Activated Carbon Air Filters focus on gaseous purification, adopting activated carbon filter material, which can adsorb harmful gases such as formaldehyde, benzene, odors, sulfides and nitrogen oxides, and can remove airborne molecular contamination (AMC). They are widely used in hospitals, archives, chemical workshops, microelectronics factories, animal laboratories and other scenarios, and can be used with air conditioning ventilation systems and industrial waste gas treatment equipment.
