The automatic tablet press is mainly used for tablet process research in the pharmaceutical industry. It is an automatic continuous production pharma machinery for pressing granules into circular, special-shaped and tablet with characters, symbols and graphics with a diameter of no more than 13mm. Some tablet presses should be equipped with a sieve machine to remove dust at the same time (more than twice) when there are burrs and dust during tablet compression, which must meet the GMP specification. Precautions for the use of the automatic tablet press: 1. Before the first use, read the instructions carefully in comparison with the actual machine, and then use it. 2. It can only run in a certain direction (see the arrow on the hand wheel or the protective cover), and cannot be reversed to avoid damage to the machine. Special attention should be paid to the adjustment of tablet compression, and don't be negligent. 3. Belt tightness adjustment: adjust through two adjustment nuts on the electromechanical bottom plate. Be careful to lock it after adjustment. 4. When there is no power supply, press the tablet by hand, and the V-belt should be removed to reduce resistance and wear. But don't remove the big pulley too, because the big pulley also has the function of saving the effort of the flywheel. 5. The rotating handle on the hand wheel must be turned down when pressing the tablet, so as not to hurt people during operation. 6. Regardless of manual tablet pressing or electric tablet pressing, the upper punch rod should be in the rising position before starting and then start. If the upper punch is started at the lowered position, it will enter the middle mold pressing sheet just after starting. At this time, because the machine's speed has not risen and the inertia is small, it is easy to push the car. (That is, after the upper punch enters the middle mold, due to the resistance of the tablet,“top die”, to stop the machine. Due to the heavy load when jacking up the car, the machine analysis is often damaged or the motor is burned). 7. Treatment after jacking (1) If jacking occurs during electric tablet pressing, the power should be turned off immediately to avoid burning the motor. (2) When the jacking situation is relatively light, you can turn the hand wheel to make the upper punch pass“dead point”(However, it cannot be reversed, so as to avoid repeated feeding by the feeder, resulting in more serious jacking). (3) When the car is severely jacked up, loosen the locking nut of the connecting rod, turn the upper punch rod to make it rise to reduce the pressure, and then turn the handwheel to eject the tablet. Then readjust the tablet hardness. 8. During the tablet compression process, the tablet quality (tablet weight, hardness, surface finish, etc.) must be checked frequently and adjusted in time.
