Tablet presses appeared earlier in Europe and the United States, with a history of nearly a century. In China, until 1949, the Tianxiang Huaji Blacksmith Factory in Beijing imitated the British 33 punching tablet machine; in 1951, it was transformed into a foreign 18 punching tablet machine based on the American 16 punching tablet machine, which is the earliest pharmaceutical machine made in China. ; In 1957, designed and built the ZP25-4 tablet press; in 1960, designed and built the Shunli 60-30 tablet press, which has the functions of automatic winding and tablet pressing. Calcium tablets, Nescafé coffee tablets, etc. In the same year, ZP33 and ZP19 tablet presses were designed and built.
