The tableting die is a single-punch tableting die for tableting. The working end faces of the upper and lower punches form the surface shape of the tablet. The diameter of the middle die is the diameter of the tablet. The die is the main working element of the tablet press. Usually, a pair of molds consists of three parts: upper mold, middle mold and lower mold. The structure of the upper and lower punches is similar, and the diameters of the punches are also equal. The punch diameters of the upper and lower punches match the die holes of the middle die, and can freely slide up and down in the die holes, but there is no gap to leak the powder.
