In tablet manufacturing, tabletting is the process of shaping the material. The tablet pressing process can be briefly summarized as follows: the powder material enters the forced feeding mechanism from the hopper; the powder impeller of the forced feeding mechanism spreads the material into the middle die hole (also called the main turntable) of the middle plate; the upper and lower punches follow the center. As the disk spins, it is constrained by the curved grooves of the upper and lower rails to make the curves undulate smoothly. After the four stations of filling, pre-pressing, main pressing and unloading, after passing through the scraping area, pre-pressing area, main pressing area, and unloading area, the remaining materials are recovered in the powder removal area to form a cycle. The material is compressed into tablets. Continuous compression is a repetition of this cycle.
