Working Principle:
- Filling: The lower punch descends to the preset position, filling the cavity of the middle die with the material (the volume is determined by the position of the lower punch).
- Main compression: The upper and lower punches move towards each other under immense pressure, compressing the material to the set final thickness and density, forming a tablet with certain hardness and strength. Under high pressure, the material particles undergo plastic deformation and fragmentation, fitting closely together.
- Pressure release/tablet ejection: The upper punch lifts, and the lower punch rises to align with the upper surface of the middle die, smoothly ejecting the compressed tablet from the cavity of the middle die, completing one tablet compression cycle.
