Common problems and solutions of tablet presses

A tablet press is a machine that puts granules or powder into a die hole and presses them into tablets with a punch. However, in the production process, users often report poor results. Insufficient powder fineness, insufficient drug fiber, elasticity and oil content, uneven mixing, resulting in loose tablets. Crush the drug into a 100-mesh sieve, select a strong adhesive, and properly increase the pressure of the press to fully mix the oil drug absorption liquid. Insufficient amount of adhesive and wetting agent, improper selection, loose particle quality, uneven particle size distribution, and uneven layer thickness. Add appropriate binder and dosage, improve the granulation process, and add more soft and granulated. The moisture content of the particles is too low, and the elasticity of the particles is too large. Drugs containing crystalline water will lose a large amount of crystalline water during the drying process of the granules, making the granules brittle and the leaflets easy to loosen.
