In the last week we talked about how to test and check the air filters,Today we mainly talk about how the related air duct work and how to connect them.
The plate of air duct and components shall be selected according to the design requirements. If there is no design requirement, cold rolled steel plate or high-quality galvanized steel plate shall be used.
The air duct shall not have transverse seams, and the longitudinal seams shall be minimized. When the width of the bottom edge of rectangular air duct is equal to or less than 800mm, there shall be no longitudinal seam at the bottom edge.
The splicing of air duct plate adopts single bite; The closed joint of circular air duct adopts single bite, and the transverse joint of elbow adopts vertical bite; Corner seam of rectangular air duct adopts corner seam, joint corner seam or snap seam. Sealant or sealing tape must be applied to the above seam.
The inner surface of the air duct must be flat and smooth, and reinforcement frame and reinforcement bar shall not be set in the air duct.
The air duct shall be painted according to the design requirements. When there is no requirement in the design, it can be brushed according to the requirements in Table 3.2.5. The oil and rust on the surface of the steel plate must be removed before brushing, and then brushing after drying. The coating shall be free of holiday, blistering and bottom exposure.
The processing of galvanized steel duct shall avoid damaging the galvanized layer, and the damaged parts (such as undercut, hem, riveting, etc.) shall be painted with high-quality paint twice.
The flexible short pipe shall be made of materials with good flexibility, smooth surface, no dust, no air permeability and no static electricity (such as smooth artificial leather, soft rubber plate, etc.), and the smooth surface shall be inward. The joint shall be tight without air leakage, and its length is generally 150~250mm. There shall be no cracking or distortion after installation.
When the metal air duct is connected with the flange, the flange of the air duct shall be flat and close to the flange, and the width shall not be less than 7mm. The cracks and holes at the flange shall be coated with sealant.
The distance between flange screw hole and rivet hole shall not be greater than 100mm. The four corners of rectangular flange shall be provided with screw holes. Screws, nuts, washers and rivets shall be galvanized. Hollow shall not be selected
